For sale is the collection used to compile Charles Bowden: A Descriptive Bibliography 1962-2000. The collection continues six years beyond the scope of the bibliography and is likely the most comprehensive on the subject. The catalogue lists all 332 items in detail. Highlights include 55 major items signed by the author (with 24 signed by other associated authors and photographers); 8 manuscript items (with 5 being complete books); 16 proof copies (with 13 being "A" items); and various review copies and scarce associated ephemera.

The 332 items are housed in 25 tan acid-free/lignin-free boxes [(18) 10.25" x 12.25" x 5" flip-top document boxes; (4) 11.5" x 15" x 3" and (1) 14.5" x 18.5" x 3" print boxes; and (1) 10" x 15" x 12" storage carton]. All items in boxes are housed in mylar jacket protectors or polyethylene bags and collection item numbers are on labels affixed to the upper right corner of the bags.
